St. Mesrop Mashtots Church in Jrashen is located in Jrashen village, Ararat region, Republic of Armenia. The church was founded in 2013. The diligent and faithful elders of this village have long desired and are still desiring to have a church. If it were not for today’s administrative regimen it would have long been built.
This village has a parish council. Together with a young and energetic village headman, we undertook to build our ancestors’ dream. Under God's providence, the Armenian letters were engraved on the cross stone placed one or two years ago in the area where the church was planned to be built. Here is the name of the Church - St. Mesrop Mashtots who is the author of the letters.
The village center is one of the major apricot exporting centers. The people enthusiastically participated in the construction of the church.
